NURSERY
Nursery
Little Fish • Big Fish • Dolphins Class

Where essential foundations are laid. We prioritize active learning over passive recitation. Through speech and language acquisition, constructive play, exciting art and craft, and interactive games, children develop physical agility and self-help skills. By Dolphins Class, pupils begin reading and handling numbers with true understanding.

KS 1
Key Stage 1
Reception • Year One • Year Two

Consolidating early foundational skills. Reception bridges nursery and primary learning with practical, activity-based mathematics and rich literacy. By Year 2, pupils express thoughts logically, write creatively with accurate grammar and spelling, and grow into confident, independent readers in a happy, constructive atmosphere.

KS 2
Key Stage 2
Years 3, 4, 5 & 6

Where academic independence and critical thinking manifest. Students take ownership of their learning, tackling complex problem-solving in creative arts, sciences, and mathematics. Guided by high academic targets and a relationship with God, they are prepared as thinkers, innovators, and strategic planners for Nigeria.

Foundational Ethos

Philosophy of Christian Education

At Westwood Park School, we believe in a sovereign, living God. The intricate craftsmanship of our world is proof of His majesty. As bearers of His image, children are supernaturally enabled to learn and achieve as part of His divine plan.

Our goal is to raise pupils and students to attain wisdom for the betterment of society. We train children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6), instilling respect for constituted authority and the moral courage to uphold truth and justice.

Tailored to the Learner

Because every child learns differently, our educators act as servant-leaders and role models, employing active, experience-driven teaching that brings out the best in every unique style.
